The origin of the super villain Joker has been long awaited. Coming in 2019, we finally get to figure out what made the Joker completely lose his mind and begin to take Gotham captive, all for fun and games while being hunted by The Dark Knight.

7) Avengers: Endgame

Has Thanos finally met his match? It seems the Avengers are going to give it one last shot at defeating the seemingly unbeatable opponent. With a unified front, and seemingly no other choice, will they be able to pull it off and save the “half” world that Thanos has now created?

6) Extremely Wicked, Shocking Evil and Vile

Ted Bundy is already an infamous serial rapist and murderer. But now that Zac Efron has taken on the role of the vile killer, Bundy’s name will now be back in the headlines, even from the grave.

5) X-Men: Dark Phoenix

Coming in June of this year, X-Men is taking a turn with a new villain that perhaps not many people expected. Nevertheless, the action sequences we all know and love is finally coming back to theaters.

4) Men in Black International

From Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith to Liam Neeson and Chris Hemsworth and introducing Tessa Thompson. New weapons, new aliens and a new dynamic to the MIB is coming to theaters this June.

3) Ford v. Ferrari

Two vehicle titans are coming to theaters in a sort of duo docudrama this June. With Christian Bale, Matt Damon and Jon Bernthal, this cast is sure to wow the crowd.

2) Once Upon A Time in Hollywood

Quentin Tarantino is back at it again. This time, with a story loosely revolving around the Manson Murders. As he does, with an all star cast, this movie will follow the story of a stunt man and an actor through the end of the golden age of Hollywood.

After being excommunicated, John Wick takes on EVERYONE. In the third installment of the series, we can expect even more action and choreography than both of the other films combined. Keanu Reeves never disappoints.

A Good Week for the Movie Polls

After watching class polls throughout the week, movies were the most voted on. It is an exciting time for movie goers with many high budget films coming out, some in a matter of weeks. The poll posted on @OffThePage5‘s Twitter page did well because people have been awaiting films like the Joker origin story and especially the last installment of the Avengers series. With both of these films in the same poll, it was very likely from the start that this poll was going to garner some attention. Not much was said for the new Spiderman movie coming out, but nevertheless, the third option in the poll, being Shazam!, got people to stop and take a few seconds to vote in the poll. The winner of the Poll was Joker with a 60% voter rating. I guess people are willing to put aside Joaquin Phoenix’s mental breakdown a few years back and give him another chance on screen. All in all, movie goers and excited for the upcoming year in film and who knows? Maybe Spider-man: Far From Home stands a chance against Avengers: Endgame? (probably not.)
